This film is a biopic of the life of Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls ( Notorious BIG). The movie is based off the book Unbelievable: The Life, Death and Afterlife of the Notorious B.I.G.," by Cheo Hodari Coker. The movie embodies Biggie's childhood; growing up yearning for more money, eventually becoming a drug dealer, a teenage father and imprisoned for his drug dealings. After his jail sentence he became more serious about his artistry. He met with Combs and became the Icon we all know today. The movie gives full details of the east coast/west coast feud. For anyone whose ever had questions about the Biggie Smalls dramas this movie gives full disclosure! Acting was excellent! Naturi who plays Lil Kim did a phenomenal job representing the Queen B. I guess Lil Kim was not pleased as how she was betrayed...well truth is truth. Angela Bassett was a great Voletta Wallace as well. I was happy to hear she was on board for this film. Tupac Shakur was also represented accurately in this movie. He is by far very many people the legend, the thug, the Renaissance man, the activist etc. I liked how they gave him a positive view even though there was miscommunication between him and Big. Overall, I have a lot of respect for this film, hip-hop lovers please support this film. It was made for us.....
